I went back to W. Plaguelands to farm Runecloth and went to the town with Araj the summoner. The four towers used to house elites, and there were at least 3 or 4 elites just wandering about. Also, Araj had two or three elites protecting him and would spawn a few more.

Now it's easy mode there. One elite of the "stitches" variety, Araj doesn't spawn more elites, and the tower elites are just regular mobs. WTF?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5468445391676431218.post-23529797393734800962008-04-14T17:54:00.000-07:002008-04-14T17:54:00.000-07:00Yeah, I gotta agree with Pai to a certain extent. ...Yeah, I gotta agree with Pai to a certain extent. Most of my time is spent doing solo things for money--i.e. farming primals and making blue cloths. I'd rather craft finished items but there's no money in it. Most of the time, I find that the best money comes from the intermediate mats rather than from the finished epic. That's pretty unsatisfying. And there is a dearth of world epic and rare schematics out there. (And what lvl 70 mage/lock isn't already a tailor? Since all the crafted epics are BoE, what do I have to sell anyway?)

I don't understand why Blizzard doesn't initiate some kind of "instanced" player housing. Maybe we wouldn't get a house in Elwynn forest, but we could at least have an apartment in ironforge, eh?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5468445391676431218.post-81852093201150054082008-04-01T14:11:00.000-07:002008-04-01T14:11:00.000-07:00This is what I think many players miss, when they ...This is what I think many players miss, when they make fun of Crafting or customizable Player Housing. Those are two things that people can do solo -- improve/decorate their plot, or craft things to sell. Or even *gasp!* RP! The horror! =P

Note that WoW basically doesn't have those things...Paihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14108169893140762249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5468445391676431218.post-22947462700568202852008-04-01T13:21:00.000-07:002008-04-01T13:21:00.000-07:00I also think they have overdone this whole soloing...I also think they have overdone this whole soloing kick. While it IS important for people to be able to do SOMETHING fun when theres nobody else willing to put up with their need to feed their children or whatever, I don't believe it ought to be the main focus of a Massively Multiplayer Game. Otherwise you may as well play Neverwinter Nights or Something instead.Thallianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05906461308866998300noreply@blogger.com
